This research-based project was commissioned by English Heritage to investigate the national resource of walled gardens both historically and currently, identifying issues and vulnerabilities, and leading to the development of conservation advice and guidance for those faced with the challenge of repairing/maintaining walled gardens and to inform future planning policy.
